Our mission is simple but profound: To groom with compassion, serve our local community, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
We believe every dog should be treated with the love and care they deserve, so we’re continuously seeking ways to refine our skills and improve your pup’s time with us.
We aim to create lasting relationships, based on trust and mutual respect. Our commitment to exceptional customer service is genuine and we want to ensure that every interaction with us, leaves tails wagging and you, smiling.
MEET OUR FOUNDER
Hey, I’m Craig (Johno) Johnston!
The Happy Dog Club was built on my love of dogs, an extensive career in corporate leadership, and a belief in local community.
I’m a professionally trained dog groomer and learnt from the best at Companion Animal Grooming Institute of Australia .
Your dog’s health and safety is crucial, so I’m also an Australian Red Cross certified Pet First Aider.
I’m very fortunate to have two jugs (Jack Russell x Pug) called Franckie & Diego. We’re always out on walkies around the City of Cockburn and Fremantle, so, if you see us strolling around Manning Park, or having a dip at South Beach, feel free to say hello!
I understand that dogs are family, and while it often results in a few raised eye-brows, openly consider Franckie to be my first-born child (our human daughter is fine with this – honestly).
The boys sleep in our bed, chill on our sofa, eat like kings, and are always VIP guests when it comes to long weekends down south –
So, when you book your fur-baby in at The Happy Dog Club, rest assured they’ll receive the exact same level of care and devotion.

If your pup loves grooming time, great! But if they’re a little nervous about it, you can expect our patience and understanding.
